- Some positions don't really have a career path. - Work in projects with budget constraints which means constant pressure to deliver in time. - Sometimes it is hard to manage the workload. I remember being assigned to 4 different projects at the same time and I'm not a manager, I develop stuff. - Unless you are salaried (which only a few people are), you will experience idleness and they don't pay you for those hours. - To deal with idleness they will assign you to training but the learning resources are not high quality. Or you will be assigned to whatever task they have which can feel like a waste of time, but hey, at least those hours are paid.
