Avantages
There are still some good people who work there.
Inconvénients
The people in power only do the bidding of the private equity firm who came in and unnecessarily let go of a bunch of employees all at the same time who were already working as part of a skeleton crew. They also did their customers a disservice by getting rid of numerous necessary services and products, because it's obvious the private equity firm doesn't care about either the employees or customers. They fired the CEO who had taken the company from a failing organization and resurrected it into the premier company in the industry, for reasons unknown, and replaced him with three people sharing responsibilities including a person working directly for the private equity firm and an incompetent CTO who thinks that lines of code generated are a proper means of measuring worth as engineers. I couldn't in good conscious recommend working here, as the company is a sinking ship. I would be very surprised if they're still in business in five years after alienating so many customers and employees. It does appear they have a new CEO, but the previous one was exceptional, and I doubt the new one is anything more than a placeholder, doing the bidding of the private equity firm.
