      Avantages

      I think they *try* to care. I think management probably sees that the employees are giving a lot to the business and they try to combat that with ra ra culture initiatives. Cool company trips, tshirts and swag, lunch and snacks, celebrations and partys. Its fun. Also the people are the BEST.

      Inconvénients

      But the reality is this is a place of burn out. They see it and try to combat it with gifts and parties but never by reducing the expectations or workload. People are killing themselves to stay above water, they dont need tshirts they need a break. They need to stop being thrown cureveballs and impossible standards. Its a really tough place to survive. Well, no. You'll survive for a little while. Maybe you'll even get promoted. But you'll burn out. Inevitable. You will burn out completely or get fired

      Avantages

      The paycheck was on time. The infrastructure didn't get in my way technically.

      Inconvénients

      •Ideas I brought up in meetings were routinely dismissed, only to see the exact same ideas approved weeks later when repeated by someone within the inner circle. •Meaningful projects consistently went to those already tied into the right connections, and it was clear capability had little to do with it. •Real mentorship and guidance existed, but it happened in closed conversations I was never part of, while others received constant support from senior engineers. •Key decisions were made in small informal groups, and I would only learn about them after everything had already been decided. •I was repeatedly assigned lower visibility infrastructure work while others were given opportunities to grow through impactful projects.
