Avantages
Work itself is fine, kids are cute and enthusiastic
Inconvénients
Was told I'd be able to work in a certain program and start on a certain day during my interview process, was mislead about both. Got ghosted for a while right after I was told I'd be hired. The only program offered to me to teach was one with a commute >1.5 hours even though in interviews I was told they always have available programs in Manhattan. Once I agreed to teach the program, they added classes and decreased my paid prep time, essentially lowering my pay/hour. Overall, was told I'd be paid $38/hr, but it works out to about minimum wage when I include the horrible commute and extra time I've spent at the school finding missing materials, acting as a liaison for the company, etc. Should have gone with other, similar job offers.
