Inconvénients
Its not a company that encourages or promotes women. It has a culture that is very 1950's male dominated and they are very proud of that. Politics are nasty and very much based on who you know and if you fit in with the culture. Bullying its both accepted and rewarded. Training and education are not a company value with a bias towards rewarding the" hero" who comes in and through brute strength saves the day rather than valuing those who want to work towards problem prevention and avoidance in a thoughtful manner. Very John Wayne. I have seen a number of smart well educated women leave the company because they are not moving up the ladder. Some have been fired for just not fitting in or for questioning the status quo or proposed action plans. Much of the male management are not well educated and don't appreciate education in others. Especially being told how to do something by a girl. (BTW I am a male so this is not just another girl being a cry baby) Its not a place for any smart, educated and ambitious women to progress in their career
