Avantages
Personal satisfaction knowing you are helping to reduce the amount of repurposable items ending up in landfills, helping different local shelters collect needed items, working with some co-workers who share the same environmentally sustainable mindset, and health benefits.
Inconvénients
Miscommunication/mismanagement on a very regular basis(went through 3 managers in my year there because they were being overworked and underpaid as well), lack of respect for employees that work twice as hard as others(don't expect more compensation, that was a joke conversation), unsafe environment for warehouse workers, saw many collected items become moldy/unusable due to inability to store them properly or miscommunication with collection partners which was so disheartening personally), styrofoam pollution outside of warehouse and going into water system. Complete disregard for your life outside of work and will overwork you at any opportunity given since they continued expanding their customer base without having enough workers. No phone bill compensation even though as a driver that is your main tool(ended up having to upgrade my plan since prior I hardly used my phone data). Acts as if there is room to expand but unwilling to formally train anyone for a necessary length of time in a new position.
