Flawed Business Strategy and Furlough destroying a once great company - Avis employé Account Executive Ricoh UK

The use of furlough and re structures to keep the business going because of COVID 19 has been used to its maximum effect. The result of that is they are losing good quality staff due to either long term furlough or re structures. This is mainly down to a focussed product /print sales strategy and a poor transition into the "services led " world. In normal times this strategy maybe effective still (although print was slowly declining). But in these COViD times it has accelerated the process and unfortunately Ricoh UK have been found wanting and had no other back up plan than to long term furlough or reduce headcount.
