Avantages

Pay is okay for Part Time. Hours are okay for Part Time. Get to meet new people Helps you lose weight and gain muscle. If you like driving, you'll be doing a lot of it. Fast Promotion Opportunities (if your a good employee)

Inconvénients

Boss is picky. Yells at you if you're not working fast, and then tells you to slow down so you don't make mistakes. Boss gets upset if you don't do something like he would have. Sometimes work past the closing time. Unruly customers will call you names and spit in your face when you take items they can't pay for. Constantly being blamed for missing tools and broken products even when you didn't lose or damage anything. Constantly being made fun of when you make a mistake months after it occurred. Constantly asked to use personal vehicle when they want you to get something when you are off the clock. If you want to tell the boss about another co-worker's performance, boss tells you it's nitpicking and just over exaggerating. Lost a promotion opportunity because I tried to tell boss about a co-worker Co-worker doesn't speak English and when he makes mistakes, I got blamed for it. Boss doesn't give you a breather after lifting heavy furniture Only break is when you go over your 5 hour work day. Constantly being humiliated by boss in front of customers.

Avantages

The benefits can be decent, there are growth opportunities, and if you’re lucky, you work with a great team.

Inconvénients

Poor management on many levels. From a store level, extending to corporate, the “leadership” needs work on their people skills. People are only capable of handling so much, and the lack of support from upper management makes it harder to work day to day. Additionally, the goalpost is always moving. If you manage to exceed their expectations, completing those same goals will no longer be good enough. The lack of support when it comes to customer abuse is embarrassing. We’re in 2026 and we should want to support the teams that are keeping the company running. Corporate is out of touch with reality. Anyone making over 6 figures a year no longer view customers as people, but as numbers. It doesn’t matter what horrid stories you hear on a daily basis, they are expected to bend to standards that shouldn’t exist anymore.
