RL is one of the best company's I have had the pleasure of working at.
- The leadership team is equal parts visionary, strategic, and practical.
- Intelligent, fun, mission driven, and highly collaborative peers.
- Interesting problems to work on.
- Environmentally game changing product in the prop tech space.
- Career mobility.
It's location is in the Brooklyn navy yard, Close access to everything. The perks aren't job related, but related to it's location.
Inconvénients
- They are a start up going on 11 years of being a start up...(lack of forward progress as a company)
- Lacks product strategy
- Lacks company business strategy lacks leadership
- They do not do product development as advertised.
- Required to be in office, while the CTO works remote from another state
- There is a lack of trust from management
- C-Suit rules with an iron fist, despite a lack of experience
- "There is no feedback on feedback" - CTO
- "Doesn't matter what it looks like, it's for low income housing" - CTO
- CEO plays a backseat role in business and company direction
- Management will tell you they can do your job
- No career opportunities. you are where you are.
- Zero diversity; of the 40+ employees, only 3 are women.
