Avantages

- World-class leadership team committed to 'transform' the world of healthcare in the US. - Sky is the limit - being a relatively young company, there are plenty of great opportunities in multiple areas. - Formal focus on cutting edge leadership practices: Inverted Pyramid (org chart); Servant Leadership; Self-organizing, High Performance, Agile Teams.

Inconvénients

- Personally, I don't see any 'cons' here :) - But, I can guess some non-traditional, innovative, entrepreneurial, practices may be perceived "difficult" by traditional thinkers. - Being a young company that has grown so fast in such a short time frame, you will see some 'informality' in certain areas.

Avantages

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Inconvénients

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
