      Avantages

      There are no pros to working for this company. They outsource to India and wish you eliminate all American workers

      Inconvénients

      R1 is failing. Even after buying cloud med they can’t deliver a RCM product because their R1 system is a dinosaur and unable to meet expectations. They lost many clients during my tenure simply because they cannot deliver. Find a real RCM company, not just a little boy ready to rob you

      Amazing work life balance and flexible hours with many projects to learn from

      Inconvénients

      No promotions, and the yearly pay increase is basically the inflation rate

      Avantages

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Inconvénients

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
