      Avantages

      Ability to work with really big companies on technically challenging projects. Great team and communication from leadership. Flexible working hours. Great system for working with clients and holding everyone accountable.

      Inconvénients

      Part of agency work is that for every really fun thing you get to do, there’s a collection of things you’ve done many times before, so it’s not all new all the time. But that comes with the industry.

      Avantages

      Lots of challenges. I learned several new technologies and this was also my first experience coding with a team, with peer review. The well-thought-out systems and processes showed me there is a better way to estimate and deliver software than the lone-wolf approach.

      Inconvénients

      There was a lot of self-directed work involved in getting up to speed and figuring out the setup of each new project I worked on.
