Avantages

The only thing I can say is the flexablity.

Inconvénients

Compensation was consistently low, with no clear consideration of experience, skill, or education. Specialists were not treated equally within the same location, and promised sign-on bonuses were not paid after the contract ended. PTO accrual was unexpectedly stopped with minimal notice. Despite consistently exceeding expectations in my role, I was not offered a bonus, while others in the same location—including my direct manager—were. Overall, there were significant issues with transparency, fairness, and employee recognition.

Avantages

Flexible shift length scheduling as long as working within pay period requirements for your position (ex, 5×8s, 4×10s, 5×7s) Flexible morning start time Experience with various patient populations (low to high acuity)

Inconvénients

Unable to get PTO approved unless given a year in advance even for one day. You can't plan anything not knowing if you *might* have to work that weekend in 6 months. For appointments, they want you to leave and come back to work your full shift or make it up. Caseload scheduling is inefficient and administrative tasks eats into patient care time. There is minimal desire for management to create and implement solutions.
