Covid, not much of cons when I worked there

An incredible community of wonderful people - the employees and the families/kids! They also offer a good bit of flexibility as you grow.

The flexibility is great on the surface, but proves to be tricky. Without a defined role, you end up doing a lot outside of your job description (if you even get a job description). A lot of voices weighing in on how the school should be run which means sometimes you feel like your being pulled in eight different directions. Staff are treated less than faculty are treated less than administration are treated less than board members are treated less than parents/students. In other words, the hierarchy is Parents/Students --> Board Members --> Administration --> Faculty --> Staff. It's easy to feel under-valued. Especially as staff.
