Employed for over 3 years and can genuinely confirm that this is a first class employer with the delivery of the best adult social care to Wokingham, Windsor & Maidenhead individuals. Optalis is owned by the 2 councils and does not make a profit. The pure focus is the delivery of the best care.
I work alongside the most talented and experienced individuals in their sectors and have never not been treated with the upmost respect to contribute to the journey Optalis is on. There is not a staff member who is not helpful and the SLT are the best I have ever worked for in my career todate.
I am excited about the future as Optalis grows in the services we already cover and the new services joining, bringing different care offerings to the portfolio we already have.
I am very proud to work for Optalis.

As public funded, some luxuries you would naturally find in a business environment are not available.

This organisation cares for their staff as well as their customers
the training team are always helpful and get you the training you need to do your job.
Management is staff that have worked their way up within the organisation

because it is a LATCo the salaries are not as high as they should be for the work they do.
