Opportunity to learn from a variety of different manufacturers to figure out what you like to sell.

Inconvénients

A lot. Biggest thing is the same old story of private equity acquiring a profitable successful business and squeezing the life out of it until there is nothing left. Minimal opportunity for advancement. Compensation plan has been and looks like it will continue to be a trainwreck. terrible benefits.

Avantages

Relatively high compensation for industry. Every day is a little bit different. Great manufacturers. Highly regarded with distribution.

Inconvénients

Feels rudderless. Management constantly running around in a panic putting fires out. Priorities constantly shifting. Heavy on data entry and reporting. They'll force you to share hotel rooms with coworkers when traveling on company business.
