Avantages

There was a consistent flow of work, which kept the days busy and allowed me to build a wide range of skills. If you're someone who likes staying active and having a full plate, there are plenty of opportunities to take on responsibility.

Inconvénients

The workplace culture is extremely toxic and fear-driven. The GM frequently yells, curses at employees, and makes highly inappropriate comments regarding race, culture, sexual orientation, and gender. Leadership does not promote a respectful or inclusive environment; instead, the attitude is that employees should feel “lucky to have a job,” rather than supported or appreciated. Speaking up is not encouraged—in fact, raising valid concerns, especially related to compliance or fair treatment, often leads to retaliation. There is a strong pattern of favoritism, particularly from management with personal connections to ownership, which has led to false accusations and targeted attempts to push certain employees out. There is a blatant disregard for employee well-being. Employees have been penalized or terminated for taking time off to address legitimate medical issues. The company has ongoing issues with compliance, including ignoring several Nevada labor laws, and they’ve been able to operate this way without accountability. Turnover is constant, with multiple operations managers leaving in less than six months due to how poorly they were treated. What’s especially concerning is that the company is preparing to go public through a merger, and it’s unclear if the acquiring company is aware of the deep cultural and ethical issues that exist internally.
