Avantages

The union fights for you, constantly.

Inconvénients

I regret seeking accommodations for my invisible disability, things are overwhelmingly worse now. The disability accommodations process has felt less like a process to get accommodations and more like an orphan auditioning to be adopted. HR has made it clear that they will decide how disabled I am and what help I need while rejecting my input into defining those things in the first place. People are constantly forcing "help" onto me to fix my disability, and when that obviously does not solve the problem, the difficulties are framed as an intentional choice on my part.

Avantages

Like anywhere you work. If you have a good boss then this place is okay. Management is clueless in regards to technology and have zero incentive to learn.

Inconvénients

Technology is improving but IT department gets incentives to say no to you. Simple things take forever because no one in IT has ever actually worked in a real IT company.
