Avantages
The culture is exactly what I was looking for in a company. The management is transparent and approachable and you really get the feeling that what you're doing matters and you aren't just being looked over. Everyone is super motivated and really likes the work they are doing and are excited about where the company is going. It makes for a great environment to come to everyday. You also get all of the "cool" start up perks - great office, stocked kitchen (seriously, my wallet thanks me), beer on tap, and ping pong.
Inconvénients
Not necessarily a con but I think some people just wouldn't thrive in this type of environment - you have to want to be challenged and be held accountable for your work and the effort you put in. It's also an open office which, again, some people might not love. I came from a small office before where everyone knew everyone, and here it sometimes feels a little segmented between teams but I think that's just new for me, and there are events for everyone to mingle with different departments.
