Avantages
Modine is a solid place to work. They treat people with respect. Managers seem to build friendships with their workers, not just work but personal connections. Salary and benefits are good, not top of the industry, but fair and balanced. Engineers seem to build long and lasting careers here with Modine. Modine invests in new technologies and R&D to develop new ideas, and prides themselves on owning the design process themselves, including intensive R&D testing.
Inconvénients
Slow to embrace new changes. Work ethic, even in office, is "rough around the edges". Some of their products are in a challenging manufacturing industry, and this challenge about where to manufacture is tough for the company. I don't know how to express this, but it needs to be "brighter" in the office. I don't mean just lighting, but attitude, morale, and office culture. It wasn't super down, but I felt like energy was lacking from people in engineering, in the office.
