Avantages
Real ownership and freedom to introduce new technology — I was able to drive AI/LLM tooling, automation frameworks, and CI/CD improvements that genuinely changed how the team works. You touch a wide range of products and meaningful scale, so the engineering problems are real, not toy work. Management is open to experimentation, and there is clear room to grow from individual contributor into a leadership role.
Inconvénients
Wide product scope can mean context-switching and stretched resources — you often wear several hats at once. Tooling and processes are still maturing in places, so you have to build a lot yourself rather than inherit it. Compensation is reasonable for the region but not aggressive compared to larger tech firms.
