Avantages
Generous PTO, smiling faces, opportunity for advancement, regular hours, double time if working on a holiday (if available), good benefits, many learning courses offered online which the company pays for that help long term in your career.
Inconvénients
Overworked, underpaid. It is disheartening in the very least to know that external employees hired off the streets start at a higher hourly rate than some of the employees who have been here for years, doing the same job. I realize you have to increase the starting pay for incentive as the turnover rate is quite high and spots need to be filled, but be fair across the board. Experienced, good employees have had to train brand new employees who make $1-$2 more than them in some cases. People talk. The raises are absolutely bogus and also not fair. They give better raises to people who do the bare minimum rather than to the over achievers.
