Avantages
Most customers feel entitled to much more than their 2000 Honda Civic is worth. You can't even work your own claims because you need to be available to take all calls and get 2 minutes of after call time which is not to settle enough to do your own claims.
Inconvénients
Constantly dread working always because people are so rude and use insurance as an atm. Supervisor's don't want the call to escalate so they give the customer what they ask for. The worst practice of business is to treat customers differently regarding how long they have been insured with us. If someone pays a premium for 5 years and a new policyholder who also pays a premium but experiences losses; how would it be morally correct or even fair to pay the person who has been insured with us for 5 years more than their car is worth or what they demand when the new policy holder receives just about what their car is worth or even less- especially if they don't check to confirm they are receiving credit for all their vehicle options as appraisers inspect vehicles and some how will miss options such as leather, sunroof, and most commonly the vehicle trim (such as LX, EX, EX-L, SE, XLE, LIMITED, AND EVEN PLATINUM Editions).
