Avantages
Málaga is a great city and projects are cool.
Inconvénients
The management focus employee well-being created a toxic work environment where personal time was not respected, and employees were expected to be available even during their vacation time. The management's emphasis on the company's "core values" also created additional frustration. While one of these values was to "always be positive, and can-do attitude," in practice, this often meant that employees were discouraged from expressing any concerns or criticisms about the company or its management. The company's "speak your mind policy" was similarly empty rhetoric, as employees who raised concerns were frequently dismissed or ignored. Furthermore, the authoritarian management style of the company created a culture of fear and frustration. Employees were not consulted or involved in decisions that affected their work, and there was no clear communication about company policies or procedures. The company's emphasis on these "core values" felt more like a propaganda campaign rather than genuine values that were embraced and embodied by the organization. Overall, my experience at the company was disheartening and frustrating. On the bright side, they gave some of us the possibility of working remotely. The CEO, Randall, seems like a nice guy. The person actually ruling there is the Director of Localization, Nina. She constantly lies to her employees and actually stands in the way of anyone doing their work properly. She has 0 people management abilities, and her knowledge about localization is near to zero as she has never worked as a PM and has very little knowledge of the production chain. PMs would have to chase her everyday because she is never available, while at the same time she demands that all decisions must run through her first.
