Oh no wait good terms with your manager and if you are part of some useless so call committee you can retire.. That was what will make you survive or get a job on yes !! If you are getting through referral make sure you do your research and get through some specific leaders they are not only influential, they are capable enough to create positions, cancel positions, create role whether one is worth it of not and will also give you tips how to crack interview etc !! Meaning they can make and break teams !! Some managers in functional group earn as good engineering managers !! Wow !! Isn't it great !! Stop studying engineering from top colleges !!
