      Avantages

      As of 2016... There's a call center that accounts for half the staff and is a huge reason for the company's success. A lot of folks transition from the hourly call center into a salaried position, providing a great foundation for a career. I worked in the tech department, which was a fun group of folks. There is a genuine focus on professional development all over the company.

      Inconvénients

      As of 2016... There were a lot of politics above the grunt level, and lack of coordination between teams. There was also a lack of prioritization which led to floating more projects than could be handled at one time, and an unwillingness to accept that completing any one project required dropping or deferring others. This was all recognized by various parties and it may have improved since I left.

      Thanks for your feedback. There have been many changes since 2016 which have helped up to make progress in the areas you noted. One change is that we've combined the QA and Development teams into one engineering team, to help foster more effective relationships and dependencies.

      Avantages

      At the time of my employment, the company was small and felt very much like a community. It was very warm and welcoming.

      Inconvénients

      Management at the time was not very professional, communication was lacking and employees weren’t made to feel like contributors towards goals, just pawns. Salaries for certain departments were much less than the industry standard in the state at the time.
