Avantages
The people are absolutely wonderful. Almost every person that works here is an absolute gem. CEO seems like a nice enough guy but also seems a little bit out of touch. You can use this as a jumping off point to go somewhere else and if you're desperate enough to break into an industry, 6 months here will be just enough to move on somewhere else.
Inconvénients
Even though on a personal level the people are great, not everyone is amazing to *work* with. Management has a tendency to add on asks because of their inability to set boundaries with their client. The scope creep is very real with this company and it falls on the ICs that aren't managing the project to make up for the mistakes of management. Some people see it as the norm and not the exception to work well into the evenings and weekends and this is a major contributing factor to their burnout culture. Their business relies on billable hours and they *seem* to undercharge for consulting services. This leads to a lot of people working more hours because the sales and management under scope the projects. Then, when the deadline comes and the work isn't done, they will continue to have people work with no additional revenue meaning they can't sustainably pay people. Then they go through a round of layoffs to pay for their mistakes. But they will continue to sell you on their "insite family" until they rip the paycheck from your hands when they no longer have a use for you. Moreover, a lot of really good top performers that are very highly skilled have been terminated recently which tells me that no one can work hard enough or be talented enough to escape their list of expendable resources. Attrition is very very high at this company for a reason and unless you have nothing better to do with your free time I don't recommend you work here.
