Avantages
-you get to meet some nice people - if you enjoy a juvenile, fraternity environment to work for that encourages drinking and a 'play hard' mentality, then that would be a pro for you--definitely was NOT for me
Inconvénients
- fraternity oriented culture-- they encourage drinking, expect you to attend all work events and reprimand you for missing out (even if you're a commuter and have to be up at 4:30 to be at work at 7:15 the next day)--NOT professional at all - management pays no attention to you--you're thrown into the "pit" after one measly week of training. They also have a "smile and dial" policy where you have to call every candidate, so often you're calling people who are overqualified for a position, and end up getting yelled at for being incompetent. - no proper training program-- as a technical recruiter you should know tech lingo (C++ developer, java, GUI, etcl. Insight Global doesn't bother teaching you these things and expects you to figure it out on your own--pathetic - they expect you in office no later than 7:30, and you must stay until 5:30 every day - men have to wear white or blue shirts ONLY, as if any other colour is emasculating. - super sexist: women expected to wear heels--I was told to never wear flats....so basically men can be comfortable in their dress shoes while women are certainly not in their heels - another ideological aside--any epressions of feminism, equality or liberalism and you're definitely seen as a bit of an outcast--standing out or being slightly different is NOT appreciated at this abysmal company
