Too many managers just want to manage but never integrate with staff members to experience what the staff does. Management is really disconnected. Unit supervisors are in their offices in meetings and never even give a lunch or break when the staff is dying because there is no staff. Management has no clue and it would really improve their skill set to show support instead of sitting at their desk. The assignment is biased and unfair, the same people do the same thing all the time, the travelers that are paid a lot more are in the hall floating, and the regular staff is in the O R working hard.
