Good work culture !! Quality work. Good learning curve.

Inconvénients

New recruits are not of good quality. The focus on quality is missing. No Onsite for consultants ... seems its only namesake. This is hampering customer facing experience. After privatization, the focus shifted to revenue only (making money) and employee growth opportunities is gone with the wind !! This is hindering growth curve. Indian directors/heads are there namesake and are powerless to take any decisions even when they are very much capable and able leaders. I think the US heads need to trust the abilities of the leaders here as they are very experienced and focused people. College grads are recruited with relatively less package with false promises of travel. This is not there now leading to grads opting for other companies and not Informatica. This will lead to lesser quality people getting into the company !! All-in-All, if the above points are rectified, it is surely a great place to work. And about HR - Specific to IPS, there are not many good HR initiatives. Needs to be improved and new ideas needs to flow in.
