Avantages
Above average pay. Good benefits. Opportunities for progression. Decent location. Good people working here, it's like coming to work with a good group of friends.
Inconvénients
Information overload. They have a great trainig department but there is so much information to learn it can not possibly ALL be taught during an 10 week training course. If you already know the industry you have a leg up but the hardest thing to master are the computer programs and ever changing processes and procedures. ALOT of on the job training. Processes and procedures are changing everyday. Poor communication between departments. No sense of any foward planning or inclusion in company goals. Operating most of the company on outdated computer programs and sales strategies. Poor attrition rate in many departments. Compensation across the board should be more based on the industry and market but Guardian can afford to be a little cheap with salary as they are on of the few companies consistently hiring in this area. Don't expect to gross more than $40,000 unless you are in upper management or a department head. All lower level positions will pay less than this. Typical starting salary is $12-$16 if you are lucky.
