This store that say "HELP" is pure lie. What is done in this company is taking advantage of the people who recently arrived in this country. They giving them hard work, denigrating people for being foreigners. Latinos , Africans and Asians. They give preferences to the natives of this country. As the people who recently arrived in this country are generally afraid of being fired for that reason, very few people claim their rights and are discriminated against. There are no claims that can be seen by the big bosses. They do not even investigate what happened. They part with their managers. I worked for more than seven years in Bellevue Goodwill and I had infinities of problems with managers I am Spanish guy and I do not think I am a person of second class I fight for the good relationship towards employees They wanted to fire me from my job many times but they could not for a "GOOD REPUTATION " . All these dear friends are some things that happen in this company .Thanks to divine providence I could find another great job and I am always ahead because there is an opportunity to grow up and prosper in life. DO NOT CREATE EVERYTHING THAT THIS COMPANY SAYS ASK DIRECTLY TO EMPLOYEES HOW DAILY LIFE IS AT WORK. EDUCATE YOUR MANAGERS. HAVE NOT COMMITMENT ONLY MONEY. PROTECT YOUR EMPLOYEES.

Avantages

I enjoyed my customer service work - helping people as a part of a larger mission to help the community. I found it rewarding to advance to supervisor and pick up new skills and responsibilities such as safety auditing and supply management. And of course it was always interesting to sort all the interesting and unique donated goods.

Inconvénients

A change in management over the past year+ has been very difficult for me. I found my work more heavily scrutinized and criticized in ways that felt unclear and unfair. The new manager had a clear bias towards certain employees, gossiped openly and loudly and often with explicit HIPAA violations, and made it literally impossible for me to keep track of inventory supplies as a part of my responsibilities. Communication between management and associates - and even between management and supervisors is very poor. Workplace culture has seemed to shift from being very flexible and people-oriented to more stringent on policy and focused on revenue. Trust in upper management is strained. Day to day if you stick to your task and focus on production, you'll probably do well. But for me it isn't what it used to be.
