Remote Work Flexibility: The ability to work remotely has been a major highlight, providing the freedom to manage my schedule effectively while delivering impactful results as a Technical Program Manager. Generous Stock Benefits: The company provides generous stock options, which add significant value and appreciation for long-term employees like myself. Supportive Management: Managers are easy to work with, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment that makes tackling complex projects, including recent AI initiatives, enjoyable and productive. Great Experience for Long-Term Employees: For those of us who have been here, the past five years have been a rewarding journey, leveraging my skills in cloud infrastructure and AI to drive meaningful outcomes.

      Inconvénients

      Limited Promotion Opportunities: One major downside is the lack of ability to get promoted. Many roles feel stagnant due to long tenures and tight budgets, leaving little room to move up within the organization. AI Push and Potential Downsizing: There’s a huge current push to leverage AI in our work to demonstrate value, which is exciting but concerning. It feels like a precursor to darker times ahead, as the company might use this to identify roles for elimination, a trend seen in other organizations. Budget Constraints: Tight budgets contribute to the stagnation, and flat salaries, making it challenging to create new opportunities or expand teams, which impacts career progression.

      Avantages

      Fast-paced, high-intensity environment where expectations are set high and that drives genuine performance. I've learned a lot here and I'm hopeful to spend more years helping shape the direction of the business. Smart people, real ownership, and the kind of work that pushes you to grow.

      Inconvénients

      Operations are running lean while the goals stay ambitious. AI is reshaping how we work, but the tooling isn't quite mature enough yet to carry the load it eventually will. Until it catches up, teams can feel stretched.

      Avantages

      I am able to be my best self in the environment I work in. I am encouraged to ask questions and come up with solutions to problems - often the identification of a problem doesn't have a clearly prescribed solution - My leadership allows me to be proactive and come up with more ideal solutions than 'just what works'.

      Inconvénients

      This is a large company, and mileage may vary. Bringing your best self should be a requirement for all positions in all companies.
