Inconvénients
Managers - most of them have no clue what they're doing and are in their positions because they're friends with the senior managers etc. Customers - about 80% of them will talk to you like you're trash. I will say the other 20% really are pleasant and you will have good interactions sometimes. Hours - beyond unsociable. Your shifts are going to be about 11 hours long, and you'll work weekends. Good luck having a social or family life with FirstSource. Pay - it's minimum wage... FirstSource have to be, at least in my area, one of the only CS roles not paying above minimum wage. They try to counter this by saying that you'll get commission; which is extremely low and often wrong and not calculated correctly. You will be monitored in every. single. aspect. of the role. When I say every thing you say, click on, how long you spend on each page or section of the systems will be monitored and used to review you - on a usually fortnightly basis. It'll never really be enough for them. Not in sales? May as well be! You'll be given a sales target even if your section isn't even related to sales. FirstSource have an absolute terrible retention rate for a reason. They're so desperate for people to stay and turn up for their shifts that they're giving away TVs, tablets and other "incentives" to turn up for shifts - shows how out of touch they are with reality.
