Avantages
Good for entry level grads as there’s a fixed promotion structure for the first two years. Will fund certifications if it is relevant to your such as CISI, PMI, AWS, etc. Good work life balance.
Inconvénients
FD is desperate for and will accept any and all work. They are not a serious financial services and consulting firm. Some projects for clients include: customer service telephone support, back office post-trade support, data entry, mundane document reviews, and quality assurance checks. All of which last months or years. Keep in mind you’ll find “consultants” with 4+ years of experience on such projects. Ideally stay for two years post grad, then find another job asap.
