Avantages
Really cool product, it feels good to help people. I have learned alot about social drivers of health and their impact. Good coworkers. Snacks if you work in Austin.
Inconvénients
Bleak atmosphere: Everyone is worn down. Lots of tension between people and the office atmosphere is very quiet, not fun or energetic. They try to host morale events but it's like forced fun, no one is actually enjoying themself. Half of the office turns the light off and works in a dark cave all day. Workload: People keep leaving because pay isn't competitive and the workload is unreasonable. My customer load is more than I've ever experienced before. And people leaving makes it worse they take forever to hire. Leadership culture: CEO has a very fragile ego. He has completely surrounded himself with yes-men and everyone tiptoes around him. Favoritism: It's obvious who management likes and who they don't like. The ones they like get a lot of extra leeway and benefits. They don't enforce the remote work policy the same across people. They praise the same clique of people over and over. If the CEO doesn't know you from before you probably won't be in the group.
