Avantages

Social events are adequate if you have people to enjoy them with, though they are used by HR to paper over the cracks of day to day work. Decent client portfolio. Some competent heads of department - however, these people are horrendously overworked, so a miracle if they stay.

Inconvénients

Awful hiring policy over the last 2 years - discontent and sudden leavers led to panic hires, which has left the culture in the toilet, and account teams filled with sub par people. No clear direction from senior management about what the agency wants to be, a fine of example of this is the creative proposition just being dismantled and integrated with another agency. I don't think anyone could tell you what Fetch is anymore - a performance agency, SEO, PPC, data, comms planning? Jack of all trades master of none. HR is awful - young hires get siloed into doing jobs they hate and have to pick up the work for incompetent AD's and GAD's. HR don't listen and just blame all issues on Dentsu (parent organization) i.e. lack of payrises and progression. Work is extremely boring - recieve spreadsheet from supplier, look at it, send back to client with Fetch logos - take fee.

Avantages

Fetch is a fun, ambitious, and spirited place to work! I feel lucky coming into our office everyday. People here are intelligent and motivated, and everyone becomes friends easily with one another because we have a friendly nature. The office is fast-paced yet laid back at the same time, we are culturally diverse which is enriching for our team. Upper management is easily accessible when needed, and teams are given a lot of recognition internally when hard work is put in. Overall, everyone I have interacted with has said they love coming into the office and enjoy the work they do, even though it can be challenging at times but always very rewarding.

Inconvénients

The problem is there are so many opportunities to address any problems to the right resources, yet people still manage to air out their discontentment in the wrong places, and it’s so counter productive because nothing will ever get resolved this way. It’s a shame to know that not everyone properly utilizes our resources in order to help our amazing company continue to make improvements when needed. If most everyone could understand that going straight to upper management/HR could have such a positive impact, it would greatly benefit the individual and our team/culture as a whole.

Avantages

I worked at Fetch for 3.5 years and had such huge opportunities there. Being self-directed is essential to success here, but it is highly rewarded. Besides the ability to get your hands dirty, make an impact, and control your own destiny at Fetch, the atmosphere is great. Snacks, social events, and a real network of supportive and smart people. Work felt like hanging out with a lot of friends for me. I worked with amazing people internally and amazing clients. I gained tons of industry knowledge and technical skill. And I really believe anyone who is driven enough can and will get the same level of satisfaction I got. What else can you ask for?

Inconvénients

In my time at Fetch, there was a lot of growth, which is always a challenge to manage. As I said above, if you don't have a lot of your own initiative, Fetch can be a challenge because you won't always get processes and guidelines handed to you in this relatively new field of advertising. The communication about the direction of the company or major company news is not always executed elegantly, which can be confusing at times, but is mostly harmless.
