Avantages
The experience I've gotten through clubs has landed me two internships. The students at ERAU are all interested in the aerospace industry and passionate about what they do. The Office of Undergraduate Research is the best thing that happened to the school.
Inconvénients
Almost none of the AE faculty are willing to be a full time adviser for a club or project. Professors are more than willing to help students with problems, but when it comes to taking responsibility for something, they are very hesitant. Finding funding for projects is also extremely difficult if you can't get a research grant.
