Avantages

Very few to mention now.

Inconvénients

More redundancies have hit chemistry. Unclear vision. Once had a good culture, I wouldn't say the same now.

Avantages

I enjoyed my time at Domainex overall and found it to be a good place to work. There was a high degree of freedom and autonomy, which allowed me to explore ideas, develop workflows, and contribute across a broad range of activities.

Inconvénients

At the same time, there were significant challenges around resourcing and long-term strategic support. Expectations were often ambitious relative to the available headcount and infrastructure, particularly in areas such as hiring and compute resources. While the team (me) worked hard to deliver, there were occasions where stronger support and investment from senior management would have enabled more sustainable progress and reduced pressure on individuals.

Avantages

Helpful and kind colleagues Good pension and benefits A few of senior management/exec seem to genuinely care about others.

Inconvénients

Commercial strategy is non-existent, scientists/operations often try to drive new business themselves. Defensive mindset by particular members of operations and senior management, difficult to have constructive discussions, suggestions by junior staff are often taken as a personal attack, and met with justification of current ways rather than taking on board new ideas. Base salary is average at best
