Avantages

Flexible schedule. Most of the lawyers and advocates are nice.

Inconvénients

About 50 FTEs. Can qualify for FMLA only when there are at least 50 FTEs. Very low salaries that won't go anywhere when the raise is between a half-percent and 1.5% every 18 to 24 months. There is an executive leadership problem. In an organization of about 50 employees, there are 11 on the "leadership team." Too many chiefs... Very high turnover, roughly 10+ experienced, good employees in last 12 months (20%). Paid time off is very low. Health benefits are very expensive. No on-site HR, its outsourced, disorganized, and fractured among at least 3 different companies. Management works the good employees to the point of burnout. Incompetent employees who cannot do the job are left in place. No equal opportunity for career advancement.

Avantages

Everyday staff is great - care about people with disabilities LOTS of flexibility

Inconvénients

Management could not be more different from the staff - including the team leaders - they are not trustworthy at all, and I have heard them trash talk clients when they think it's in private. Took about two years to get our first union contract done, after management fought it tooth and nail. Compensation is better than it used to be as a result.
