Avantages
I had a great experience working at Datalink. Since it’s a smaller company, it was easy to get used to things and connect with people. Most folks are approachable, so reaching out for help or quick discussions never felt like a big deal. The overall environment was comfortable and easy to work in, and almost everyone on the floor is friendly. When I joined as a fresher, I had heard the usual things about office politics, but in my time here, I didn’t really come across any such situations personally, which made the experience even better. For me, the main highlight was the learning in the data team. I got to work on real projects early on, including hands-on implementation, and was given decent responsibility, which helped me learn a lot in a practical way. The team had a good balance of ownership and support, and the guidance, especially from the team manager, made a noticeable difference in how smoothly things worked and how much I was able to learn over time. From my experience, HR was easy to work with and generally flexible whenever needed, which made things simpler. The company also provides useful benefits like work-from-home flexibility and insurance support, which is helpful. Overall, there is a genuine effort to take care of employees. It’s also good to see the new India leadership bringing in a fresh direction and focusing on growing things further. Overall, it was a solid experience and a good place to build skills and confidence, especially early in your career.
Inconvénients
In my experience, since it’s a growing company, some processes are still taking shape and not everything is fully defined yet. Occasionally this meant a bit of back and forth, but it was manageable. Overall, it felt like a normal part of a smaller setup and didn’t impact my experience much.
