I worked in Daemon software services Coimbatore few months back. Here is my review. It was literally a nightmare for me for all the few months I worked there. All employees with some talent escaped from their company with in 3-4 months after joining. There is no lead,no architects. The only employees staying back their will be either don't have any skill set or they have some family commitment to be their in that place or some fresher for some experience. Work -They are long past their deadline for more than a year. Who ever started the project all ready left after few months. And who ever join newly will need to take up all the pressure for the delays. There is absolutely no document on the requirement or the design .And best part is the client keep on changing the requirement every week since they don't have any proof of what is needed. So one day you will be designing on one way and after one month the client will ask to change the complete design. Even after delaying the project for this long the management still don't learned how to freeze requirement.They will ask to come on all week ends.Their wont be any guidance or help.You need to solve all be yourself Salary- The complete salary giving is a fraud thing. They will create 2 salary accounts for you.1/3 of salary will be credited in one account and remaining in other account. You will get most of the salary on hand.But only 2/3 of your salary will be shown in your salary slip.If you want to take some loan or for showing to your future employer this creates issue.I finally took bank statement to show my current employee the salary I earned from them. No Professionalism- The management will shout at you in front of the entire company if they are not happy with you.They will corner you in meeting if you raise your voice. And they have history of firing employees with out any notice in one single day.I never seen such un Professional behavior in my entire career. One person can be rude,two can be rude,but all? Some thing is really missing here. Work Culture- This is the worst thing in that company. Every single person talk on your back. You will stop believing any one except ones in your circle. Bond- They will ask you to sign a bond for 3 years (if you leave before that you need to pay 2 lakh rupee )after joining the company.This wont be informed to you before joining. If you don't have any other offers in hand you will be forced to sign the bond.Edit...I came to know that after facing few issues from some ex employees ,they changed this policy.They will tell about this bond before joining it seems. Farewell- Even if you served all your notice period and completed all tasks before leaving, they wont give you a farewell .Instead they will simple come one day before the official releasing day and fetch your laptop and asked you to leave with out talking to your colleagues. So that will be the final day in that company. The relieving letter may or may not be sent in mail. Politics-If you want to learn how to play office politics this is the best place. From talented person to extremely soft introvert person will change their attitude after joining their because of the ill treatment from managers. No Hierarchy- There is no hierarchy their. You don't know to whom you need to answer.From CEO to Director to Manager they will check the status. And every manger will be upset that they are not following any hierarchy. Main reason why this is happening is CEO wont believe Director,Director wont believe what manager is saying. So they want to get updates from juniors .There is no respect or believe among management itself. No projects-They have only one client.There is no upcoming projects and the complete Coimbatore center is running under huge loss. They are getting some huge amount of money from consultation from their Bangalore and Noida centers. With that money they are running the show in Coimbatore. In short this company don't have any ethics ,no professionalism and absolute zero vision about how to grow and what to do next. So guys if you are lucky in life you would have gone through this review. Then you can decide all by yourself. I will be grateful if any single person escaped from this company after seeing this review.

Guys one bright thing about this company is that you can become manager or lead or architect with 2 years experience since you will be the senior most person in the company

Hi Thanks for the long feedback! I am sure people reading your feedback will be benefited with my comments as well. Let me address the major points you have addressed. We are an R&D centre so in IT terminology we are a grooming hub for young talent and new innovations. New innovations come from fresh minds which need to be trained in a stringent manner. Yes we are a matrix and a growing organization where the importance of stepping up and taking responsibility shows. So we give equal importance to everyone on the floor! Salary Payments - Coming to the salary part and the two payments, please note that this was designed keeping the welfare of our employees. By giving a separate PA we help in reducing the taxation. After continuous concerns from employees like you we have completely given up this system and PA is now stopped. Unprofessional shouting - If the management feels that it is a whistle blower then we will accept your views but when we feel that trivial issues are brought out of proportions then we will have to curtail it, that makes absolute sense. Further what is wrong in asking a commitment from a person whom we take atmost pains to groom from scratch. We feel that is a commitment that we need!!! Profit centres- When there is no delay in any of your payments and expense reimbursements does it really bother from which center the money really comes or if the company is making huge profits or losses. All we expect from our resources is to work hard and come up the corporate ladder and we provide the fastest growth ladder being the start up that you have mentioned! Daemon has great people. Great managers.

Might be more transparent salary levels. Might also need to train there people more.

Avantages

If you work hard, you will learn more (This is not so special in this company, this is the way all start up works but I think other company would pay you well)

Inconvénients

1. Worst Management and no proper hierarchy 2. They will put you under pressure & stress to complete the task but won't recognize with the best pay for the work you do 3. If you want to claim your expenses, they will not give you the full amount, so better not to agree to transfer without confirming that 4. 2 years Agreement (Dosn't suites the company) 5. No 6th day Allowance for working in week ends/ public holidays instead they will give you comp - off which of no use because you can't take more leave (They may keep calling you again & again in the name of support & ruin your leave) 6. And many more

Hi Thanks for your comments! We are known for our flat org and multi-functional teams. Being a new and a flat organization we agree to the fact that reporting to multiple managers will be a challenging task , but that sure will act as an anvil to hone your skills. Further the SLA has to be looked at different angles as well. We take you in with a good stipend and train you on the latest technologies so we expect our people to be with us for a minimum period which is justified. We do not have the policy of Overtime because according to us it directly is proportional to the efficiency of the person handling the tasks. But still,for people who have worked extra days deserve compensatory off for the days worked so we give them and we have never stopped anyone from availing these at their wish. We are very much comparable to the market payouts and do recognize deserving people. And we are in the right track with our R&D's on our product portfolios .
