Avantages
Firstly, they usually offer free lunch meals, which are helpful, especially during those times when budgets are tight. Lastly, the environment was so-so, but I highly praise the people I have worked with, including my lead. They are competitive and easy to work with. I learned valuable things during my stint at this company.
Inconvénients
Oh, where do I begin? The management and their irrational and questionable decisions messed everything up, which is one of the main reasons that the employee retention rate is low. One example of it is requiring the development team (devs, QA) and some managers to work on holidays/weekends, regardless if being compensated or not. Yes, there are miscalculations/missing computations of the salaries received, especially when the period includes rest-day work. Another is micro-managing at some point. What's the point of asking the devs for updates 15 to 30 minutes after working with something? My goodness. They shouldn't be pressuring the devs too much most of the time, if they want high-quality results.
