Great engineers, execs trying too hard to fit into the Tech Company mold - Avis employé Senior Software Engineer Compass

- Many Execs (Directors and above) come from Amazon and other FAANG companies. They try to project that culture onto Compass, which doesn't necessarily make sense. This leads to often shifting and often unclear priorities, laying off people and trying to force in-office work on new employees - Engineers on some product teams and many contractors are pretty weak IMO.
