Avantages

Pre-merger, there were definitely more pros than cons. Since this merger, the majority of the tenured recruiting staff has either resigned or been let go due to "restructuring", and most of the backfills for those roles are either fresh grads or based in India. Truly heartbreaking. Pros? Good boot camp for greenhorn recruiters. Nice enough people around.

Inconvénients

The company does not contribute to health insurance, even for full-time staff employees (Think over $1000 per month for family coverage.) PTO is almost non-existent, you get 2 weeks a year until your 5th year, and paid holidays are about 8 per year - and even then you are on call. There is no structure, and you deal with a an unrealistic senior management team wanting to merge all industries into one recruiting model. Unrealistic expectations and the highest turnover rate outside of the F&B industry, this is truly the new McDonald's of the agency biz. Instead of getting COL pay increases, recruiters are told to "get more hires" if they want more money.
