Overall, Code First Girls was disorganised, immature, and dysfunctional environment to work in. At its core, CFG has a veneer of supporting empowerment for women but a history of poor management, lies and deception. If you're looking for a kind and nurturing environment, look elsewhere. The business simply didn't appear to focus on empathy and don't appear to value anyone's opinion or their mental wellbeing and neglect those who are struggling. Saw several episodes of passive aggressiveness and plain old oppression of opinion - especially if it involved critique or feedback. Senior management didn't want to deal with feedback and actively discouraged it. Perhaps is the reason why senior hires leave and junior hires stay - everyone's affraid to challenge the status quo becuase and senior managers are berated or ignored or both. The business lacks maturity to handle any healthy challenge of the everyday processes and individuals are berated for challenging things.
