Avantages

- Fantastic benefits package - Work from home is embraced, there is little to no pressure to work in the office - Flexibility, bigger emphasis on getting the job done rather than being present. - Opportunities to cross train and learn different roles - Relaxed atmosphere - Product that is easy to get behind and support - Autonomy

Inconvénients

- The technology side of the business is not emphasized, all groups within technology operate extremely lean and are asked to do a lot. - Culture of exclusivity rather than inclusivity. There is an archetype that will be happy and successful. Unfortunately, if you fall outside of that it will be a bit of a rough going. - Professional Development/Career paths are under developed. I constantly asked "What do I need to do to have a bigger role in the company?" Was told often that it was coming soon, and soon never came. - The contrast between the work culture and the "fun" culture is jarring. It leads to awkward company meetings/events where people are unsure of how open they should be. - Plenty of corporate nepotism, a specific background is valued. - You'll be asked to do "extra," if you accept it becomes more work for you to do in the future. If you refuse, you're seen as "lazy." It is a scenario where you rarely win.

Thank you for your candid review. We are always striving to find efficiencies, so teams don’t feel stretched and, admittedly, we don’t always hit the mark. We take all feedback seriously and work to find ways we can get better. I would specifically like to address the comments about culture and would have encouraged you to provide suggestions of how we can make our culture more inclusive through our anonymous “Ask Capture” link. One of my professional focuses in 2022 is to better define career paths within each department. Movement can go many ways – up, down, and lateral, as well as expanding within your role. Movement isn’t always fast within a small company, but there are still ways to do it, and we plan on helping all team members understand what that looks like for them. Lastly, with Capture College, our internal committee focusing on Professional Development, we hope to determine what learning paths are best, what development is needed to skill-up our teams, and more. It helps to know what team members are interested in as it pertains to PD opportunities, so we can discuss options for each individual. We are always open to understanding what each person needs to grow in their role and want to support you if we can. Thank you for everything you did for Capture and sharing feedback so we can get better. Carla Terwilleger Senior Director of People Operations
