Avantages
Coworkers were excellent, great, hardworking people.
Half off at in-store restaurants is a pretty sweet deal.
Semi-flexible schedule, however there were some times management wouldn't compensate for employees who requested time off and the front desk would be understaffed.
Inconvénients
Terrible management. Often times there were 2 of us scheduled on a booked Thursday or Friday night. Checking in 100+ rooms between 2 people takes HOURS and guests start to get very unhappy.
Housekeeping absolutely sucks. Leaving at 4 PM when there are still rooms to be cleaned on a booked Friday night? The GSA's catch all the flak for that. Room runners and GSA's had to end up preparing rooms.
Corporate treats the Grand Forks location like dirt. Just because something works perfectly at your Winnipeg location doesn't mean it'll work here. They're "do it by the numbers" guys without actually taking a look at the problems at hand.
