Avantages

Working remotely, I enjoyed the tedious work but it is tedious. A lot of math graphs and then, boom, some very complicated redo of a math problem that makes it totally incomprehensible.

Inconvénients

You have a lot of people working there who are in the education field and they are set in their ways. A lot of sniping going on and very bad attitudes which makes for a stressful environment for a new person. Example: I was asked by the CEO if I thought my managers were micomanagers. I had only been there a few months so I said no (the truth was yes). Also they treat their production staff as very replaceable and they don't even try to point out the value that one employee brings to the table over another. They lose a lot of valuable employees that way. They will pull a PiP on you for nothing, just basic learning mistakes. Then you will get fired over something from left field.

Avantages

- Some talented coworkers who genuinely tried to support each other - Exposure to a variety of systems and environments -Opportunities to improve processes if you take initiative

Inconvénients

Leadership struggled to establish consistent direction. Priorities, expectations, and processes shifted every few months, making it difficult to build momentum or stability. Frequent turnover at the VP level created ongoing uncertainty, but the underlying issues were never addressed. Micromanagement was common, even when employees were performing well. Communication gaps between management and staff often led to confusion about expectations. Several employees left during my tenure, and many others were actively looking for new roles. I experienced an uncomfortable interaction where a senior leader expressed surprise about my disability and made comments about how I “should” behave professionally. I was asked to personally cover travel expenses upfront despite the company having established methods for handling those costs. Offboarding felt abrupt and lacked transparency, with inconsistent explanations provided afterward.
