Avantages
- Located in Merchandise Mart, nice building with Ok food court, close the L - Company tries hard to keep updated with technology, actually could be good for your resume what you done there since is usually latest versions of tools, standards, practices, etc - Good work/life balance, work pressure is not bad but you could get bored if you are smart and finish earlier or if you have higher goals
Inconvénients
- No career path, seems managers don't care about positions/titles - Egocentric peers, a lot of metrosexual-programmers there, you would think you are working for a fashion company instead of a software development company - Lack of employee recognition, even your performance review was great but you earn good money, you can be fired anytime due constant company restructure that in reality is company savings - Lack of vision, company focus on reducing costs instead of trying to diverse products, enter new markets or go international - You can work for 10 years there if you survived the yearly downsizing, but your last day will be similar as your first day, nothing is really happening at CCC
